The 2025 Academic Pathology Faculty and Administrators Compensation Benchmarking Study is now open through March 2026!
The AAPath Compensation Benchmarking Survey addresses a critical need for member departments to access comparative regional and national data that informs recruitment, retention, and discussions with institutional leadership. The annual survey platform is designed to confidentially collect data from participating departments and transform into a member-interrogated reporting system when the data collection period is closed. For participating departments that complete the required questions (to be eligible to access data), the anonymized and aggregated results are accessible and sortable by a variety of self-selected metrics for analysis.
The strength of the data is only as good as the participation level of the AAPath membership, so please make the time to submit your departmental data! The 2025 data collection period is now open through March 2026. To make participation in the 2025 study easier, no new questions have been added and, if you participated previously, data may be quickly copied from the previous year. Chairs and APEX members with data entry privileges have received an email alert with instructions from Dynamic Benchmarking, or you may go directly to start data entry by clicking the button below. For those departments who have participated in the past, access up to three years of data and customize reports to your precise needs.
