Clinical Service Leaders

Purpose

As a result of discussions between APC Council and the Practice & Management Committee, APC formed an ad hoc Faculty Clinical Service Leaders Committee to better serve and support academic clinical service chiefs and directors. This committee will report directly to APC Council and, based on input of the committee members, may develop into a standing committee or section of the APC. 

Appointment Process

• Chairs may appoint up to two (2) appropriate faculty to this committee, including themselves. Relevant faculty are, for example, chiefs of pathology in affiliated hospitals, directors of anatomic/surgical or clinical pathology, and laboratory directors.
• Appointment of these members does not have any associated cost or impact on departmental dues.
