Regional Meetings of Chairs and Administrators


Regional meetings are NOT planned and executed by either the staff or the Council of the Association of Pathology Chairs, and therefore, are NOT official meetings of the APC. Regional meetings are organized locally, by the regional contacts listed below, and are supported by their own registrations and the sponsoring institutions (unless otherwise noted), and the APC cannot be held liable for any arrangements. Thus, the use of the APC logo and the formal name of the legally incorporated, "Association of Pathology Chairs (APC)" are not permitted when organizing a regional meeting. All questions about the regional meetings should be referred directly to those contacts listed below.

Location - In-Person and Virtual Options
The meeting will be hosted in-person at the Fairmont Scottsdale Princess in Scottsdale, AZ, and broadcast live to remote participants via Zoom. Program Details
The program will take place Wednesday, January 12, 2022, through Friday, January 14, 2022, from 8 am-12:30 pm MT daily. Program details are still being finalized, but tentative topics include:

Day 0: Tues. 1/11 - For in-person attendees and their guests, a casual welcome reception and dinner will be held on Tuesday, January 11th from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. (local).
Day 1: Wed. 1/12 - Mental Health & Wellness and the Impact to Departmental Morale
Day 2: Thurs. 1/13 - D&I Initiatives and Community Engagement During COVID and Beyond
Day 3: Fri. 1/14 - Hybrid Work Models – Options and Negotiations with Faculty and Staff

Registration
The 2022 West-Midwest-Canada Regional Meeting has been organized for either in person (in Scottsdale, Arizona) or remote (via Zoom) participation. However, to attend in person, registrants must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 and be prepared to provide documentation confirming their vaccination status. Only those individuals who have received complete dose(s) of a U.S. Food and Drug Administration-authorized or -approved COVID-19 vaccinations (both initially in 2021 and as recommended by the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention for subsequent COVID-19 booster shots or other follow-up vaccinations) are permitted to attend the meeting in person. Please review the Meeting Registration Health, Safety & Cancellation Policy Checklist before proceeding with registration.

The non-refundable registration fee for the educational meeting content is $625 USD.
