Welcome to the EPA Training Website! This site includes training in completing an EPA and having a coaching conversation about an EPA-assessment or a portfolio of EPAs. Please start by watching the introductory video below.

Instructions For Faculty & Staff (e.g. trainers or teachers):
- Complete training for each EPA relevant to your area of practice. (5-10 minutes each)
- Watch the coaching training video to incorporate coaching conversations into your EPA assessments (10 minutes)
- Download quick-reference Trifolds to have on hand
- Submit a certificate of completion to document your participation in faculty development

Instructions For Residents & Fellows (e.g. learners):
- Complete training for two EPAs pertinent to your training track. (5-10 minutes each)
- AP/CP
- Pick Autopsy OR Frozen
- Pick Peripheral Smear OR Transfusion Reaction
- AP-only or AP/NP
- Autopsy AND Frozen
- CP-only
- Peripheral smear AND Transfusion Reaction
- Watch the coaching training video to incorporate coaching conversations into your EPA assessments (10 minutes)
- Submit a certificate of completion to document your participation in faculty development

Please note - completion of the above trainings does not automatically send you a certificate of completion, you MUST COMPLETE the below certificate of completion form to receive one. This is to ensure anonymity in your training response, keeping your training results separate and confidential from your contact information. Please enter your information in the below form to receive a certificate of completion of your training (specify for each). Also by providing your name, we will let your PD know that you have completed this training, but not your results as these are kept separate and confidential. Certificates of completion are sent on a monthly basis.
